On delivery to Durst Malz, the malting barley is not simply analysed, but also graded during the cleaning process to ensure optimum storage conditions. Durst Malz checks the germination properties, protein, water content and grade of each consignment on arrival.

Japanese Sapporo Breweries took a TV-commercial in Kraichgau area to publish the Award "Goldmedal"

presented by German Agriculture Minister, Mr. Horst Seehofer in May 2008.

The award is in recognition of Sapporo's sustainable growing of Barley and Hops in Germany.
