DURST MALZ was founded in 1824 in Heidelsheim near Bruchsal. Today DURST MALZ with its 4 locations in Germany has an annual capacity of 240.000 tons of malt. DURST MALZ produces many types of malt for breweries in Germany and the whole world. Our aim is to produce malt with the highest quality.

R. Fottner with DURST MALZ

Mr. Rudolf Fottner joined the Management of DURST MALZ in July 2007 as Deputy Managing Director. He is responsible for the domestic Market and Technical Controlling.

Rudolf Fottner is in the malting industry since his graduation as Dipl. Brewmaster at Weihenstephan. The last five years he was Plant Manager of Weissheimer’s malting plant in Großaitingen and responsible for sales and customers service in South Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy as well as for local barley suppliers.
