Fully automatic double-floor kilns with recirculating air and batch transfer systems enable energy-saving and gentle drying within 48 hours. This method means that the malt retains good processing qualities. Needless to say, DURST MALZ uses indirect heating and Low-NOx-burner.

Japanese Sapporo Breweries took a TV-commercial in Kraichgau area to publish the Award "Goldmedal"

presented by German Agriculture Minister, Mr. Horst Seehofer in May 2008.

The award is in recognition of Sapporo's sustainable growing of Barley and Hops in Germany.
