Steeping

Durst Malz gives top priority to a meticulous steeping process. The barley is steeped up to 48 hours in stainless steel vats with electronically controlled temperature, ventilation and CO2 extraction. This steeping initiates the germination process.

Sapporo Film

Japanese Sapporo Breweries took a TV-commercial in Kraichgau area to publish the Award "Goldmedal"

presented by German Agriculture Minister, Mr. Horst Seehofer in May 2008.

The award is in recognition of Sapporo's sustainable growing of Barley and Hops in Germany.
